Recruiter Account Lead

    Summary/Objective
    In addition to the responsibilities outlined in the Recruiter position description, the Recruiter Account Lead works closely with their Managing Director to monitor the daily recruiter activity necessary to meet the annual account plan(s) for their assigned client(s). In addition to maintaining personal production associated with the account(s), the Account Lead works closely with the recruiters assigned to the account requisitions to assist the team in identifying and securing the best candidate for the position.

    Essential Functions

    • Drive placement volume for a specific Ascent client or category within an Ascent client(s) as assigned by the Managing Director.
    • Ensure score card and/or client SLA’s are being met on behalf of Ascent for the client(s).
    • Ensure appropriate number of submittals/interviews are being met.
    • Ensure all available resources for new candidates as well as reutilization of existing talent are being maximized.
    • Assist in the daily direction and assignment of requisitions to ensure assigned recruiter is accountable to providing the necessary submittals.
    • Field client specific related questions from the team and escalate to the appropriate person (Managing Director, Director of Strategic Sales, Account Executive, Human Capital) when necessary.
    • Maintain personal production expectation as set forth by management.
    • Interface and partner with the identified point of contact at the client and manage any necessary daily tasks that will result in new Ascent placements.
    • Keep the recruiting team abreast of any information gathered from the point of contact to ensure Ascent is providing the correct and most qualified talent.
    • Strong knowledge of typical job requisitions within your specialty or industry focus.
    • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques that include Ascent’s internal database, writing Boolean search strings, searching job boards, networking and other passive recruiting techniques.
    • Prescreen and interview candidates to confirm they meet the requirements of the job requisition.
    • Proactively seek out sales leads for Ascent’s sales team.
    • Educate candidates on background screening process.
    • Conducts employment references and document properly in Ascent’s internal database.
    • Extends verbal contingent job offers of employment.
    • Enter assignment information into Ascent’s internal database.
    • Send background check directions and links for candidate to complete.
    • Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing new hire paperwork and supplying references.
    • Document activities in Ascent’s internal database.
    • Checks in every 30 days with Ascent Professionals who are on billing.
    • Meet or exceed the Ascent Performance Metrics associated with your role and your experience level.
    • Provide regular updates to Account Executives on their open requisitions and the recruiting activities you have completed.
    • Ask clarifying questions and provide feedback on open requisitions, candidate availability and pay ranges based on your experience and results of your recruiting activities.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

    Supervisory Responsibility
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment
    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday, a minimum of 8 hours per day between 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. As an exempt employee you are expected to put in sufficient hours to meet your position requirements and meet or exceed performance metrics.

    Travel

    • Limited travel is expected for this position, up to 10% to attend corporate meetings and visit clients and candidates at their work location.
    • Required Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent and 12 months of relevant work experience.
    • Preferred Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree.
