Cala Clinic Nurse


The Opportunity
Our client is seeking Clinic Nurse to join our growing team. The role will act to facilitate successful conduct of clinical trials, user testing, and market research activities. The Clinic Nurse will serve as the liaison between the Principal Investigator, the patients, and additional study staff for clinical studies. The Clinic Nurse will interact with product development and product marketing for user testing research activities.
 
Specific Responsibilities also include
  • Understand thoroughly all assigned studies, clinical protocols and user tests
  • Conduct clinical studies according to internal procedures, applicable regulations and good clinical practices (GCPs)
  • Assess initial study eligibility of study subjects via phone pre-screening
  • Educate subjects on their particular study and obtain informed consent for participation
  • Meet with subjects to collect required information, marketing surveys and user feedback interviews
  • Schedule visits and perform regular phone follow ups with subjects
  • Ensure protocol adherence and maintain accurate source documentation
  • Monitor subject compliance
  • Communicate study issues and activities to the clinical research team and Principal Investigator (PI), and if applicable product development and marketing teams. Follow up on specific issues and challenges related to the study
  • Complete paper and electronic case report forms
  • Ensure adequacy of study supplies
  • Perform IP accountability
 
 
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for a Clinic Nurse to support clinical study execution in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, exemplified by:
 
  • Medical degree such as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience working with Psychiatric patients
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a clinical research setting, preferably working with study subjects
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and oral)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
