Title: IT Senior Systems Administrator

Summary of Position:

The Senior System Administrator will be directly responsible for the successful implementation,
operation, administration, and support of all servers, network infrastructure, services and
applications. The Senior System Administrator is responsible for managing Microsoft Windows
operating systems, network infrastructure firewall and switches, troubleshooting server-based
hardware, OS and software problems, manage Active Directory, Backup and Restores, apply
servers patches, apply industry standard for network security, O365 Exchange online, O365
SharePoint online, Palo Alto Network equipment, Vmware servers, NetApp, Citrix, SCCM,
Barracuda, backup system and provide end-users support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement, configure and administer Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, RAIDs, Radius, powershell, print servers, windows updates servers, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, hardware and software
  • Implement, configure and administer NetApp storage and filers
  • Implement, configure and administer VMware infrastructure
  • Implement, configure and administer Palo Alto Network equipment
  • Configure and administer SCCM infrastructure
  • Configure and administer Microsoft O365 Exchange online and O365 Office
  • Configure and administer Microsoft O365 Sharepoint online and One Drive
  • Configure and administer Microsoft Azure
  • Configure and administer cloud backup and disaster recovery infrastructure
  • Configure and administer backup technologies, snapshots and data recovery
  • Configure and administer backup and restore using Networker and Quantum library
  • Configure and administer Avaya phone and voicemail systems
  • Configure and administer Citrix XenApp
  • Work with vendors to support and administer accounting applications and systems
  • Requires 24X7 support for network services, productions systems, emails, and network infrastructure
  • Perform monthly service updates and patches to servers, users computers, PAN, Cisco and Vmware hosts
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure and efficient day-to-day network operations
  • Implement, configure and manage Cisco switches, firewall, routers, wireless devices and Radius
  • Document and maintain detail network diagrams for all enterprise LAN and WAN
  • Implement and manage corporate wireless networks including access points, authentication and security, SSL remote access VPN solutions

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, including robust analytical skill with a focus on preventative actions
  • Collaborate with business owners to determine requirements for new systems and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs
  • Manage and administer computer imaging process
  • Provide end-users helpdesk support in computer hardware and software issues, emails, applications, printing and etc.
  • Maintain hardware, software and licensing inventory
  • Comply with Company IT policies and procedures, change control and SOX ITGCs
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required in special projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT technologies or related fields with 7 years of working experience
  • Proficient in NetApp, Vmware, PAN, Cisco, Windows at system administrator level
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent team player, good documentation skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skill, ability to prioritize and take responsibility to resolve problems efficiently and manage multiple projects in a high pressure environment
  • Demonstrate drive to learn new technologies and keeping abreast with current technologies
  • Solid technical knowledge with Palo Alto Network equipment, VMware, NetApp, Cisco, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, network security products
  • Other certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Vmware are highly preferred
