    Summary/Objective
    In addition to the responsibilities outlined in the Recruiter position description, the Recruiting Team Lead (RTL) is primarily responsible for and accountable for ensuring that Ascent and client required metrics/ deliveries are being met for an assigned delivery team. These metrics include submittals, interviews, consultant starts per month, newly added gross margin per week/month, and overall team GM%. This is accomplished both through personal production and directing the production activities of the recruiters/sourcers assigned to the Recruiting Team Lead. In addition, the RTL assists with training and mentoring team members and is expected to maintain any reporting documents as required by Ascent and named clients. The RTL serves as a point of contact with account executives and MSP representatives for daily activities surrounding delivery of candidates for open requisitions. RTL will also make sure that requirement expectations are held to an agreed upon standard and point out any quality issues/ concerns from the team to the Recruiting Manager or Senior Managing Director.

    Essential Functions

    • Recruit on and manage delivery to, open requisitions to ensure the company wide cycle time goal and/or client metric/scorecard is achieved.
    • Responsible for coordinating / monitoring recruitment activities as required by the client; e.g. weekly activity reporting, process improvements, program development, open orders, coverage, and updates etc Ensure that consistency and quality of candidates is not sacrificed.
    • Oversee day to day submittals and coverage for assigned delivery team.
    • Communicating directly with Staffing Specialist and/or managers depending on the nature of the accounts.
    • Attending and participating in client score card meetings and supplier summits.
    • Assigning and re-assigning jobs as they need coverage; requirement balancing based off of communication with Account Executives and/or client contact.
    • Assist with the interview selection process for any new recruiters/sourcers that will be assigned to the team.
    • Accountable for ensuring team members are meeting productivity metrics and providing the necessary training to meet objectives.
    • Work in collaboration with the Managing Director, Account Executives, Directors and VP’s to develop innovative recruiting strategies and process improvements.
    • This includes review of best recruiting practices relevant to each Ascent client as well as support for succession planning to identify current and future technical needs in order to support the growth of the business with the highest level of talent.
    • Be knowledgeable on typical job requisitions within your specialty or industry focus.
    • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques that include Ascent’s internal database, writing Boolean search strings, searching job boards, networking and other passive recruiting techniques.
    • Prescreen and interview candidates to confirm they meet the requirements of the job requisition.
    • Proactively seek out sales leads for Ascent’s sales team.
    • Educate candidates on background screening process.
    • Conducts employment references and document properly in Ascent’s internal database.
    • Extends verbal contingent job offers of employment.
    • Enter assignment information into Ascent’s internal database.
    • Send background check directions and links for candidate to complete.
    • Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing new hire paperwork and supplying references.
    • Document activities in Ascent’s internal database.
    • Checks in every 30 days with Ascent Professionals who are on billing.
    • Meet or exceed the Ascent Performance Metrics associated with your role and your experience level.
    • Provide regular updates to Account Executives on their open requisitions and the recruiting activities you have completed.
    • Ask clarifying questions and provide feedback on open requisitions, candidate availability and pay ranges based on your experience and results of your recruiting activities.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

    Supervisory Responsibility
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment
    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday, a minimum of 8 hours per day between 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. As an exempt employee you are expected to put in sufficient hours to meet your position requirements and meet or exceed performance metrics.

    Travel

    • Limited travel is expected for this position, up to 10% to attend corporate meetings and visit clients and candidates at their work location.
    • Required Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent and 6 months of relevant work experience.
    • Preferred Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree.
